  • Your initial enquiry.

  • I arrange a convenient time to visit.

  • I measure your garden, marking down any permanent features, such as windows, doorways, trees, drains etc.

  • During the initial appointment we'll have a good chat about what you want from your garden and discuss your likes and dislikes. I'll also ask you if you have a budget for the project as it’s far easier to design with this in mind. Design isn’t cheap, although our prices are very good value. Gardens can start at a few thousand and go on to tens of thousands depending how much you want to spend, the materials involved and the size of your garden.

  • Not all of my gardens are the complete project. I also build fantastic decks, patios, ponds, fences, etc. Any garden project you desire no matter how big or small I'd love to discuss with you.

  • The initial consultation takes around an hour, and is free of charge.

  • I'll then go away and draw up your garden plans to scale, keeping your thoughts and needs in mind. My designs are free of charge.

  • I'll arrange a time to meet with you to show you the design. If you feel anything needs changing, I will listen to what you have to say and make any necessary amendments, though more often than not our clients really love the initial design and can't wait to get started.

  • Upon settling on a design, I will price your new garden. It usually takes around a week or so for you to receive a detailed quotation.

  • Once the work is agreed, I will give you an estimated date when I will be starting. Around a week before I am ready to start, I’ll contact you again to let you know the precise date.

  • Work commences.If

  • If you want to make any amendments during the process, I am very approachable and will be willing to discuss your thoughts. Building a good customer relationship is important as it helps enormously with what can be a lengthy process.

  • Sit back and watch your newly designed garden unfold, without any of the back breaking work! I want you to enjoy the whole experience and leave you with a beautiful garden that will evolve over time, and one that can be enjoyed for many, many years.
